Star Mountain Water Supply Corporation, 217 S. Main St. Winona, Texas, is currently hiring for the position of Office Assistant. Qualifications are:

  • High School graduate or higher
  • Proficient in Microsoft
  • Proficient in QuickBooks
  • 3-5 Years Customer Service Experience
  • 2-3 Years General Office Experience
  • Able to work in both groups and alone
  • Previous experience working for a Rural Water Supply Company is preferable but not necessary.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Financial management
  • Billing
  • Customer service
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • Maintenance of financial records
  • Bank deposits
  • Processing payroll
  • Making reports to the Board of Directors
  • Answering phones
  • Taking messages
  • Referring callers’ questions or issues to the appropriate person
  • Greeting visitors and assisting them
